Danny Welbeck's Double Helps Sink AC Milan As Arsenal Cruise Into Quarters

Danny Welbeck was on target twice as Arsenal beat AC Milan 3-1 to advance to the quarter finals of the Europa League on a 5-1 aggregate.

Trailing two nil from the first leg,  Milan struck in 35th minute through Hakan Calhanoglu but their joy was short lived four minutes later as Welbeck restored parity from the spot.

Granit Xhaka doubled the Gunners lead in 71st minute before Welbeck scored his second for the night towards stoppage time. Elsewhere, Atletico Madrid trashed Lokomotiv Moscow 5-1 to progress 8-1 on aggregate while Borussia Dortmund were bundled out after settling for a barren draw with RB Salzburg.

Draw for Quarter finals will be held today at 3pm.
