A 50-year-old assistant chief in Mukurwe-ini Police Station is being held by police at the Mukurwe-ini constituency following his arrest on Monday for allegedly impregnating a 15-year-old school girl who is a student at Karundu Secondary School.
According to the girl's father Peterson Gathogo, the daughter has since gone missing after she was told by the teachers to report the matter of pregnancy to police.
Gathogo said his last born child was allegedly last seen on Wednesday last week with the assistant chief and he has since not been able to trace her whereabouts.
The father later reported matter at Mukurwe-ini Police Station and it is after that the assistant chief was arrested.
Mukurwe-ini Police Boss Beatrice Kimorning confirmed the arrest and said investigations have been launched over allegations.
The administrator will be arraigned in court soon.
