July 23rd still stands as one of the most anticipated dates in Kenyans calendars, the day when US president Barack Obama is expected to tour Kenya.
Two months earlier, The Star reports that an advance team preparing for United States first black president's visit to Kenya will be in the country by the end of the week.
The team drawn from the Secret Service and the White House are set to hold meetings with key Kenyan security chiefs to map out Obama's visit.
It is also reported that an American warship is already advancing the Indian Ocean waters close to Kenya as one of the security installations in preparation of the trip.
