AUDIO: Singer Wahu praises Radio Jambo for supporting local industry

On Friday, Kenya's celebrated songstress Wahu Kagwi graced Radio Jambo studios where the Liar hit maker took breakfast presenters, Gidi and Ghost through her musical journey, parenthood as well as her future plans.

Wahu who is married to fellow artist, David Mathenge alias Nameless took time to praise Radio Jambo for it's remarkable efforts in supporting local music and artists, a move she termed as ' bold and instrumental' towards nurturing Kenya's music industry.

"When you look at what Radio Jambo is doing, it is commendable. Yes we understand 60% is the minimum amount of content our local stations which includes both radio and Television are required to air but, Radio Jambo has done 90-95%! which is great." Said Wahu.

"It is not easy to find a station doing what you guys are doing, leave alone the minimum content required but what your station (Jambo) is doing, has already played a huge role in nurturing our growing industry." She added.
