HELB Appoints Agency To Recover Loans From Kenyans Abroad
The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) has appointed a debt collection agency to help collect its unpaid loans from Kenyans working and living abroad.
CEO of the board Charles Ringera says the board will apply all means necessary to recover more than Sh 8 Billion from 80,000 Kenyans who benefited from the loans.
He says the money is required to help other Kenyans get higher education.
