Four suspected thugs were killed in separate robbery attempts in Nairobi as the war on crime intensifies. Police say two of the suspects were shot dead while two others were lynched.
The first incident happened along Juja Road where one suspect was killed in a robbery and a pistol found on him. The second incident took place in Savanah where a gang had attacked a Coca-Cola depot and robbed the owner of Sh10,000 and other valuables.
As the gang were leaving, they were confronted by police and one was shot dead and a pistol found on him. Two suspects were lynched in Kiambiu slums, after they had stolen motorbikes from riders in Buruburu area. Police say the bodies were moved to mortuary and a manhunt for the other suspects is ongoing.
