An acute water shortage has hit most parts of Eldoret causing fears of a possible disease outbreak.
Some of the residential areas including Kapsoya, Munyaka and Huruma have gone without water for the last four days.
CEO of the Eldoret Water company Jimmy Kemboi says they have enhanced water rationing due to lack of adequate water to serve the town.
