Kenya's Javelin champion, Julius Yego has urged Kenyans not to give up on the athletes at the ongoing Commonwealth games.

The rallying call comes as the country continues to wait for the first gold medal having failed to clinch any in the past disciplines which Kenya has dominated in the past years.

In a video he shared on his social media, an excited Yego expressed hopes that as of tonight Kenya will be on gold hunt and we will have something to cheer about.

The 2016 Olympics silver medalist is set to play his part in Javelin throw in a few hours time as he bids to make into the finals on Saturday and hopefully bag that gold.

Below is his latest Facebook post where he showcased his gear.
