An eight year old girl has been rescued from a home at Khaoya Estate in Eldoret where she has been undergoing torture by her father and step mother.
The girl was taken to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital with injuries on her body as a result of constant beatings by the parents who are yet to be arrested.
Neighbours and human right activist Nick Omito stormed the home to rescue the girl who has not been attending school and was forced to eat in the toilet and work as a house help at the home.
