Some of the most beautiful places found in Kenya

Many people love travelling outside the country during holidays for vacation not knowing there are beautiful places to visit within the country.

Some of these places aren't known to so many people but are absolutely beautiful and breathtaking, with sites to behold.

1. Diani Beach

It is located south of Mombasa and is Africa's leading beach destination for the last three years.It has a lot of activities one can do and amazing sceneries.

2. Mida Creek

It is located in Watamu, Kilifi County.

There are numerous activities as one is able to be one with nature.A whole ecosystem exists there and one thing for sure ,you will love it.

3. Kisumu Impala Sanctuary

Located within Kisumu city, Kisumu Impala Sanctuary lies on the shores of Lake Victoria. The facility was gazetted in 1992. In March 2010, the sanctuary was branded as ‘a lakeshore walk with impalas.

It has different wildlife around it both on land and in the lake.

4. Mahali Mzuri

It is Sir Richard Branson’s 12-tented luxury safari camp in the Kenyan Bush. The camp is situated in the private Olare Motorogi Conservancy in the wider Maasai Mara ecosystem.

It has a beautiful view of the Mara and is friendly to not only the elderly but also toddlers.

5. Buffalo Springs National Reserve.

It is a protected area in the Isiolo District of Eastern Province, Kenya. It has beautiful springs and a serene surrounding filled with different kinds of wildlife.

6.  Lamu Island

The island is linked by boat to Mokowe on the mainland and to Manda Island, where there is an airport. There are no roads on the island, just alleyways and footpaths, and therefore, there are few motorized vehicles on the island. Residents move about on foot or by boat, and donkeys are used to transport goods and materials.

7. Chyulu Hills

The hills consists of several hundred small flows and cones. Within the hills is the Leviathan Cave, one of the longest lava tubes in the world.

It has a great views and one can do various activities there including shooting films .

8. Mount Kenya

The second tallest mountain in Africa and the tallest in Kenya is also one of the most beautiful places to visit. The three peaks make it even more amazing as hikers get even more challenged reaching to highest peaks.

9. Coral Gardens of Wasini

Coral Gardens is located in Wasini Island. It has a boardwalk whereby tourist are able to see the gardens and it is even more beautiful at sunset and sunrise.
