Kenyan musicians who have shown nothing but talent this year

Different musicians from Kenya over the years have made headlines when it comes to the albums they have launched and the music they have produced. Some artists have done a great job when it comes to consistency while others are upcoming artist who have by far surpassed the artists who have been known for years in the industry.

1. Sauti Sol

The Afro-pop band has made headlines not only in Kenya but also in different parts of the world. They have been releasing hits almost every month, with each hit being better than the previous ones.

They are one of the most respected bands in Africa.

2. Muthoni Drummer Queen

Muthoni is a respected female artist who released her album  SHE in March. Her other single albums are Suzie Noma , Criminal  and Lover from the album. She is also an entrepreneur who is doing great when it comes to planning events.

3. Khaligraph Jones

The newly highly respected rapper Khaligraph has released a good number of songs which are  Kasayole  with Timmy Tdat, Rider with Petra, Rewind with Sauti Sol, Mat za Ronga Remix with Tunji and Khali Cartel with various artists.

He has been named by many as Africa's new king of rap and we still wait to see more he has in store for us.

4. Stella Mwangi

Stella has had one of her best years as she releases new music from her new independent label Badili Akili music. After landing several licensing deals year from Hollywood productions which used pop songs from her 2016 Stella Mwangi EP last year, Stella has made it clear that she's back to her hip hop roots in 2018.

5. Otile Brown

Otile Brown who at the moment has had a bit of drama with his ex-girlfriend Vera Sidika has also been one of the artist who are really promising. With the hit songs which he has released this year he has proven that he has talent .
