    Kenyans have a variouty of dishes which they have loved over the years. Some of these dishes have been embraced not only in Kenya but also in different parts of the world. They are served in various hotels in Kenya and as a Kenyan if you haven't tried them out, you do not know what you are missing.

    1. Ugali

    Ugali is one of the most loved Kenyan cuisines ever prepared. It is made by putting cornmeal inside boiling water. You make it until it becomes dense. It is usually enjoyed with different kinds of meat, but mostly red meat is preferable and also different stews.

    2. Githeri

    Githeri whose English name is Succotash is also one of the most loved foods. It is a mixture of beans and maize or corn. It can be prepared using different spices and vegetables to make it even more fulfilling.

    3.Kenyan Pilau

    This is a type of rice which is cooked with different kinds of spices that include, pilau masala, cardamon, cumin, cinnamon, and cloves and many more spices as per what you want. It is also mixed with red meat into it as well.

    4. Wali wa Nazi

    The rice is usually a mixture of plain rice and grated coconuts. It is usually served at the coastal region of Kenya and is one of the most loved. It can be enjoyed with a great variouty of things like chicken curry, vegetables e.t.c

    5. Chapati

    The making of chapatis in Kenya was majorly influenced with the Indian population which eventually became one of the best and most loved delicacies.

    Kenyans have their own way of doing it by making a flour dough that is wound into a coil before being rolled into a flat round circle. The dough is then fried on a skillet accompanied by plenty of oil so it becomes crispy on the edges but remains moist and doughy on the interior.

    6. Nyama Choma

    Nyama choma is basically roasted meat. Kenyans have a great love for it and it can be enjoyed with different drinks and also other delicacies like ugali, fries which are mostly preferred by many.
