PHOTO: Victor Wanyama enjoys first training session at Spurs' new £1billion stadium

Harambee stars and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Victor Wanyama on Thursday joined his team mates as they trained at their £1billion stadium for the first time.

Donning their all-purple training gear, Wanyama and the crew made their way from the home dressing room, down the tunnel and out onto the pitch bathed in March sunshine.

Wanyama could not hide his joy at finally settling in his new home where we hope will bring him even more iconic memories.

He posted a picture on his Twitter which he captioned First session at the new stadium ⚽️⚽️

It is now 98 weeks since Tottenham bid farewell to their old pitch White Hart Lane, as they embarked on a journey to build their new state of the art 62,000-seater stadium.

The stadium's first premier league fixture will see Mauricio Pochettino's side host Crystal Palace on April 3.
