Eden Hazard was the man to unveil the new look, snapping a selfie along with the cornrowed Willian and posting it to his 8.1million Instagram followers.
The caption read: 'Nice new haircut for my man @willianborges88 #cfc #family.'
Looking at some of the comments, Chelsea fans appear split as to whether they like the new look and it remains to be seen whether it is a permanent or temporary switch for the winger.
While it is a nice distraction at the moment, those same fans will be hoping the focus returns to preparation for Monday's fixture, which could see Chelsea reach their first FA Cup semi-final since 2013.
Their priority, however, will surely be the Premier League in which they sit 10 points clear of their nearest rival with only 11 games remaining.
Meanwhile here are some pictures of the star with his beautiful spouse and their daughters;
