Jay Jay Okocha Reveals His All Time Best Player, Chooses Between Ronaldo and Messi

Two time BBC African player of the year, and Nigeria football legend Jay Jay Okocha is arguably the best player of his generation and it would actually be a crime if you would leave out his name in Africa's greatest ever footballers.

He made his name at his home turf before winning the worlds adoration with his incredible talent in Europe, having played for top teams like; Bolton Wanderers, Paris Saint-Germain, Fenerbahçe and Hull City, winning a total of ten trophy accolades at club and national level.

Okocha's prowess and unique talent saw him bag a total of seven Nigerian footballer of the year awards (1995, 1997, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 )

He however is arguably the only best player to never win the CAF African player of the year, despite being listed in football legend Pelé's FIFA 100 (a list of the greatest 125 living players of all time) in 2004.

With all said Okocha doesn't consider himself as the greatest African footballer.

When asked whom he rates as his all time best footballer he settled for Brazil legend, Pele.

"Not just what he did on the pitch in very difficult circumstances, his attitude off the pitch comes second to none." He said, as well as settling for George Weah, the only African player who has won FIFA's best player of the year, scooping the award 22 years ago (1995).

But between Messi and Ronaldo ,who's Okocha's favorite cup of coffee? Find out in the video below.
