Nyeri Town parliamentary Jubilee candidate Ngunjiri Wambugu has said nobody should die before the 8th August general election so that they can re-elect President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The candidate said it was his wish that the Maker will keep all Kenyans alive so that they re-elect the Jubilee government wholeheartedly.

"If God calls you, it is good you put an appeal on Him so that you will be alive until the 8th August since the Jubilee government is not ready to lose even a single vote before the general election which is around the corner.

"We are targeting 97 per cent turnout here in Nyeri Town constituency which will be Jubilee votes and so we don't want to lose any vote through any means even in death. Please don't die now until you cast your vote. Tell your God to wait first if by any chance He calls you," said the Candidate.

Wambugu noted that if one dies, there is a likelihood that he or she might not be buried soon as people will lack enough time for preparations since people will be busy in political campaigns.

The Jubilee candidate hopes the election will be peaceful so that President Uhuru wins with 70 + 1 per cent.

He was speaking at Mt Kenya ACK hall in Nyeri town on Monday when he met over 200 opinion leaders.
