Police have arrested three suspected brokers selling Standard Gauge Railway tickets to travellers at high prices in Mombasa.
Regional coordinator Nelson Marwa says the brokers are causing artificial shortages and frustrating passengers booking the SGR.
Marwa says selling Madaraka Express tickets to travellers at more than the stipulated price is illegal.
Police say brokers are delivering tickets to travellers who do not want the hassle of the Kibarani traffic and long queues at the Miritini train station.
