A matatu crew who beat a motorist to death in Githurai Zimmerman in December have been charged with murder.
George Irungu Maina and Ian Mbugua faced a charge of murdering Joseph Ngethe Kiarie on December 24th, 2017.
The two have appeared before high court judge Jessie Lesiit, however they were not required to plead to the murder charges because they did not have a lawyer.
The judge has directed they be brought back to court on January 24, when they will be assigned a state lawyer to defend them in the trial.
