Kenyans from all walks of life sent in their messages of condolence, mourning his loss.
The club has also updated Kenyans of goodwilll who would like to contribute funds towards expenses.
In a Facebook post, the club wrote:
Our striker Ezekiel Odera lost his mother over the weekend. As a branch let's stand with his family. There's a bill of over 200,000 ksh at KNH. Kindly channel you contributions to our Treasurer on 0721622535.
Well, over the weekend, politician George Aladwa accompanied several fans to Ezekiel's home in Umoja. Their show of support impressed many fans who thanked them.
Ezekiel also took to social media to thank the Ingwe family writing:
"We want to take this opportunity as the omulos to thank the ingwe fraternity for there supporttoday,may God bless you all.
