Kenyan international forward, Jesse Were is still causing ripples in the African football scene after grabbing yet another eye catching display which saw him score in Zesco United's  2-0 win over Buildcon, reaching a milestone in the process.

After a barren first half draw, on fire Were put Zesco ahead in the 57th minute before turning provider for Kambole in the 84th minute to wrap up the win.

The prolific striker's goal was his 50th for his Zambian club which comes just a little less than two years after signing for them from Tusker FC after topping the Sportpesa premier league scoring charts in 2015.

The Harambee Stars forward took to Instagram to celebrate the fete where he owed his success to God and his supportive team mates and coaches.

He wrote, 50 goals for my club jst thanking my mates n my coaches n not forgetting God more goals to come ❤️

Zegalacticos win on Wednesday was their sixth straight victory in the Zambian super league as they extend their unbeaten run to 12 matches. The incredible run has left the league leaders on 54 points, 8 more than second placed, Green Buffaloes.

Congratulations Were on your continued success!
