Felix Ochieng has named the Kenya Sevens squad for next month's Wellington and Las Vegas legs of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
Collins Injera-third on the all time try scorers list is one of six players making their first appearance on the series this season, the others being Lavin Asego, Billy Odhiambo, Michael Wanjala, Tonny Owuor and Felix Ayange as Kenya seek to improve on their performances starting with their first game in New Zealand. The management has maintained their confidence in players like Bush Mwale and Oscar Ayodi who have performed consistently this season.
Speaking in Nairobi, Ochieng, said, " We are looking to build on our performances this season. The World Rugby Series has become very competitive as has been witnessed over the past three legs of the season. Our main focus has been on giving every player an opportunity to be competitive in our build up to the next two legs while representing with pride the people and Republic of Kenya to the best of their abilities".
