For the first time in almost two decades, Spanish giants, Real Madrid will start a season without a Ballon d'Or winner. I bet that comes as a shocker!

This is following Cristiano Ronaldo's shocking Sh 11.7 billion transfer to Juventus this month, after a 9-year trophy laden and history making years at the Los Blancos.

Since 2009, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, claimed four of them with Madrid joining the likes of Luis Figo, Michael Owen, Ronaldo and Kaka in list of Ballon d'Or winners who have played for the Spanish team in the last 18 years.

Before Ronaldo, the last World's best player in th world they had in their team was Kaka who featured for them between 2009 and 2013.
