Gor set to unveil new recruits

Gor Mahia will unveil their newly signed players on Thursday 8th January 2015 at the club offices situated at Nyayo National Stadium starting 11:30 am, the club's website reveals.

The defending Premier League champions are expected to reveal their replacements following the exit of 3 key players in defender David Owino, midfielder Geoffrey Kizito and talisman Danni Sserenkuma.

According to Assistant Secretary General Ronald Ngala, the club has blended both youthful and experienced players in a bid to strengthen the side ahead of the upcoming sesson and also set base for continuity in the coming season.

"The club will be unveiling the new signings tomorrow (Thursday) and i am confident the players will be a big boost to the team in terms of experience and youthful talent ahead next season and in future." Ngala said.

Key amongst the players expected to be unveiled are goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch (formerly Tusker FC), Liberian defender Dirkir Glay (formerly Thika United), Ugandan midfielder Aucho Khalid (formerly Tusker FC), midfielder Jerry Santos, Burundian attacking midfielder Pierre Kwizera, Ugandan striker Farouk Ssentongo and Ghanian striker Tawfiq Zakari.
