At least 50 students who had been held hostage by suspected Al Shabaab militants at the Garissa University have been rescued.
According to reports, the death toll stands has risen to 15 with 56 injured, with Kenya Defense Force soldiers still battling to flush out the attackers from within one of the student hostels.
