MCAs in Eldoret stormed governor Jackson Mandago's office demanding release of their colleague Samora Machel who had been arrested by Uasin Gishu County askaris.
Nominated MCA Samora Machel was arrested and locked up at court cells located within the county offices.
He had been arrested after he attempted to block the county askaris from demolishing illegal structures at Kimumu along the Eldoret Iten road.
Mandago was not at the office but the MCA was released after his colleagues stormed the offices.
