The rains have been pounding the city really hard, and many travellers coming from Mombasa t Nairobi were forced to spend the night in the cold following a traffic gridlock, as motorists tried overtaking in the jam.
The traffic is said to have stretched for more than 20km's.
Ktn's Ben Kitili was among those stranded and expressed his frustration by saying: Been stuck on Mombasa road at around Maanzoni for four hours now..it's a parking lot..guys have even switched off their engines..we could spend the night here..all because of Kenyans overlapping on the road!!..
