Manchester City edged closer to winning the English Premier League title with a two nil win over Stoke City.
David Silva scored City's goals in each half to restore their sixteen point lead at the top of the summit. The win means City can all but seal their title with a win over Manchester United at Etihad when the two sides meet next month.
However this will happen if City beat Everton. Skipper Vincent Kompany says it's once in a lifetime opportunity they are looking forward to.
