The Kenya 7s Rugby Team yesterday finished fourth in the Cape Town Sevens after going down 28-26 against France in the third place play off.
Earlier on Kenya 7s had beaten United States 26-10 in the main cup quarter finals before narrowly losing 24-22 to Argentina in the semi finals. Kenya 7s collected a total of fifteen points to move to ninth place in the IRB rankings with twenty points.
Focus now shifts to next year’s Wellington Sevens where Kenya 7s is in Pool D alongside Canada, Portugal and Australia.
