Benjamin Ayimba's side finished second in group A, behind New Zealand before being relegated to the Plate after a 24-5 loss to hosts France in the Main Cup quarters.
Shujaa collected 10 points from the series to remain seventh in the World Rugby Sevens rankings with 95 points. Kenya now shifts their focus to next weekend's last leg in London, where they will face France, Scotland and Portugal in Pool C.
Samoa won the Paris 7s series for their first Seven Main Cup title since 2012 with a 29-26 win over Series leaders and defending champions Fiji.
