Sofapaka and Muhoroni Youth will know their fate today when the sports tribunal make their ruling on whether the two should be reinstated to the Kenyan Premier League.

Sofapaka has since sued the Football Kenya Federation after the Federation relegated them for lack of a club license, terming the move unfair.

The KPL governing council last month met and unanimously agreed to support and also enjoin KPL in an immediate and urgent petition by Muhoroni Youth and Sofapaka against their irregular and dubious ‘relegation’ leaving out Nakumatt, KCB and Vihiga United from their tentative schedule.

Muhoroni were also relegated on the same grounds. KCB and Vihiga United, who benefited from the relegation of the two, are also set to find out if they will remain in the National Super League or if they will be promoted to the KPL.
