Gor Mahia yesterday suffered their first defeat of the season as they lost 2-1 to Western Stima in Kisumu.

Jacques Tusiyenge opened the scoring for Kogallo in the 16th minute from the spot but Stima leveled from the spot through Fredrick Shimonyo and with ten minutes to stoppage time, Shimonyo added the second goal for Stima.

Elsewhere Tusker beat Chemelil Sugar one nil, Sofapaka were 2-1 winners over Mathare United while Sony Sugar beat Thika United one nil.

On Saturday, Danny Sserenkuma, Shaban Kenga and Musa Mudde were on target as Bandari thrashed Muhoroni Youth 3-0 to move to the top of the Kenyan premier league as AFC Leopards rallied from behind to beat Nzoia Sugar 2-1 to move to second with six points.
