Ghost recently revealed in an interview with radiojambo.co.ke that he loves animals and one of his favourite pasttimes is visiting national parks and game reserves.

However that does not mean the Radio Jambo funnyman can shy away from eating the same animals he loves so much if they are served to him on a plate.

In today's Breakfast Show, Ghost admitted to a shocked Gidi and Yusuf Juma that he ate monkey meat while during a travel to Kinshasa in the years gone by.

As you would find out by listening to the clip shared below, it is clear that Ghost's appetite for the weird is driven by love for experimenting with things. To use his words, "I only try once and if I like it, I try it twice."

In a follow up interview over that, Ghost revealed to radiojambo.co.ke that ate monkey meat in 1994 when he was in Kinshasa with Kenya Bereweries FC to play Daring Club Motema Pembe in a 1994 CAF Winners' Cup Final first leg match.

He also added that he ate caterpillars while Botswana but admitted that it took some guts to swallow them. Still on Ghost's weird tastes, he also admitted to have eaten frog legs and snakes.

"Chinese people eat everything and they are just people like us so why not also eat what they eat? Even hear in Nairobi we are sure of the meat that we meat. Many of us have eat donkey meat without knowing," Ghost said.

On whether he will serve such kind of meats and food if he ever owned a restaurant, Ghost said, "Our culture here forbids eating such meat so I will not serve at a hotel I own much as I would like to have it served. At the end of the day, I have to draw my life between my tastes and those of others."
