Two people were arrested on Monday after they were caught stealing food items at a supermarket in Langata estate Nairobi.
Those working at the supermarket say the two were part of a six member group that had earlier on stolen items at the store.
The other four people escaped.
The management did not comment on the matter.
However, a worker at the stores said that the two were being monitored after they stole a car battery one week ago.
The two were found with seven seas, naan milk, dettol and bar soaps.
They would be stationed at the reception with banners inscribed 'I am a thief'.
