One person was killed and another one seriously wounded in a fight between supporters of Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang and those of nominated senator Elizabeth Ongoro in Mathare slums, Nairobi.
Six others were slightly wounded in the clash that happened as Ongoro met a group of supporters in the area. A group believed to be supporters of Kajwang stormed the place prompting the clash.
Police say they are investigating the incident and will take action on those arrested over the same. The body was moved to the mortuary while the injured are in hospital.
