Police say they recovered two pistols from the suspects in the incidents that happened in Parklands and Industrial Area. The first incident happened in city park area where two suspects were felled by police following a series of robberies there.

Another suspect was killed in Industrial Area in a botched robbery. The suspect was attacking and robbing locals when police were alerted. The bodies were moved to the mortuary.
Police say they’re expecting a rise in armed and violent crime ahead of the festive season.
More officers are being put into use to tame the trend.
