"All the tubes were removed!"Jahmby Koikai still recuperating in Atlanta

It has been three months since the Fyah mamma flew to Atlanta for specialized treatment. By now most of us know that Jahmby Koikai has been struggling with Endometriosis, a condition that appears everytime on that time of the month.

For a while, the endometriosis warrior went silent after sharing a photo on her social media page that got many of her fans worried. It has surely been hard for Jahmby to walk and do afew things for herself, she expressed after going through several other surgeries.

Before leaving for the country for treatment, concerts were held to help the Fyah Mamma raise money for her medical care in Atlanta, but later after her operations the funds she had were not enough so she took to social media to again ask her fans to stand with her financially.

She went MIA but is back to share her journey to recovery and here are updates from her:

"Seeing the outside world was freedom. The hospital ward can easily make one go mental with no connection of what's going on out there but it's also a time for reflection. After my long walk, this became my chillspot. Looking at buildings, chimneys emitting smoke and the ever changing weather. I have never been happier to just see natural light, buildings na hata moshi lol. Little pleasures. I'll tell you about those two huge boxes connected on my walker. Extremely painful and heavy.

I'm still fundraising and we are now at 6.6m

We didn't know it would take this long for her to get operated on and recover. In a different post she said:

"This corridor has been my walk way for a few weeks. Right after my surgery, my cardiothoracic surgeon walks in and says there's more water in the lungs. Fair enough. That meant another mini-surgery. I aced it. I went through it and came out with more tubes right under my breast going through to my ribs connected to the two boxes you see on the walker. The box on the side was connected to my stomach. All draining water and blood. I also had a catheter in. Then a week later, doc said they found water in another part of my rib cage. So they gave me options. Either we insert the tube through your armpit or through your back or through your breast. I couldn't bear a tube in my back since i lie on my back. I opted to have the tube through my right breast. I aced it. It started draining.

I just want to encourage little girls in high school, young adult women, career women who've had to endure this pain, miss school and always shamed. I'm here for you. God has given me life. They will hear our pain. They will know that Endo is real and we need a cure.

All the tubes were removed. I'm recovering well just dealing with the motions of healing.

We have a fundraiser and thanksgiving event on the 5th of May at Believers Celebration Centre in Marietta, Atlanta. I will be there to share my story.
