Baringo youths have endorsed Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria statement saying they are yet to feel the fruits of supporting Jubilee government.

Addressing media in Kabarnet town hotel on Tuesday, they noted slowed and discriminative development in the country strongly blaming it on the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the opposition leader Raila Odinga.

“We wholesomely voted Jubilee in 2013 and 2017 now we are experiencing poor roads and water shortage yet other people are benefitting, it is like a game is being played somewhere” Robert Kipkorir.

This came a day after MP Kuria lashed on president Uhuru saying he is not doing enough development to satisfy the Kenyan communities who voted him to power.

In reaction, President Uhuru answered amid emotions saying “Kenya is bigger and every citizen deserves equal share of resources irrespective of political affiliation or tribe, and that is the leadership we want” he said.

This also comes as DP Ruto is being accused for pledging and commissioning several ambitious projects that are yet to be fulfilled in Baringo.

Kipkorir however alleged that the handshake aimed at building bridges could be a ploy to mock and frustrate the Deputy President William Ruto’s ambitions taking over presidency in 2022.

They said now if the president has decided to run the government without involving DP Ruto then it is better be dissolved and “we call for fresh elections” Kipkorir said.

The youths further appealed to the president to apologize for branding his critics ‘washenzi-fools’

“We entrusted him to power expecting him to work and improve the country’s economy but all we receive in return is insults” Franklin Toroitich said.

Toroitich said DP Ruto is the kingpin of Rift valley after retired President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi and that he deserves his respect as the Jubilee’s Deputy party leader.
