Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama is expected to take plea over allegations of incitement to violence on October 15 following a court summon.
Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo ordered Muthama to appear at Milimani Law Courts alongside activist Japheth Muroko over remarks they made at a rally on September 23.
Their summoning follows an application by DPP Keriako Tobiko to the court for Muthama to take plea over the allegations. The DPP said that Muthama has a case to answer.
