Former Kenya Television Network (KTN) editor Aaron Otieno has been remanded after the court forfeited his Sh300,000 cash bail after he failed to settle Sh1million.
Milimani Chief magistrate Francis Andayi remanded Ochieng pending pay of Sh550,000 as new cash bail.
The case was coming up for a mention in a case Ochieng is charged with stealing a motor vehicle worth Sh2.8million from Joy Doreen Biira last year.
The former editor had apologized to the complainant and wanted to negotiate with her.
The court was informed that he had paid Biira Sh350,000.
Ochieng requested for two more months to finish the payment but the magistrate rejected saying the matter was from another court.
"I will not grant you the two months as you failed to finish the matter in the previous court", Andayi said.
The case will be mentioned on June 5.
