The wedding between 27-year old Wilson Wanjohi Mutura and his 23-year-old fiancée (now wife) Anne Muhonja cost Sh100 only – for the two rings each at Sh50.
After the event went viral online, Kenyans were warmed by the love the two showed for each other and how eager they wanted to be together. Their humble attitude touched many, with well-wishers quickly jumping at the opportunity to give a helping hand.
They came out in large numbers to contribute selflessly to ensure the couple would have their special dream union. Among them was a tours and travel company that gave them a fully paid trip to Mombasa, where they will be received at a luxurious 4-star hotel.
They were provided with a fully paid for 5-day, 4-night honeymoon package inclusive of meal plans, flights, and all transfers, boarding their this afternoon.
They have also been offered free dinner at various hotels while in Diani, manicure and pedicure sessions, photo shoots as well as pledges of household items.
