Kenyans are outraged with the news that a man walked into the Moi Girls school and raped three students.

This comes months after the same school was shut down after a students burnt down one of the schools dorms, killing her friends.

Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris rushed to the school, where she spoke to students.

She wrote

Last night at Moi Girls with students and their parents. I call upon the Authorities to speed up investigations and immediately arrest anyone who offered a bribe in the form of a scholarship in exchange for silence. This lapse in security is simply unacceptable!

Education CS Amina Mohamed, says the ministry has began investigations but no timelines have been given.

'Upon completeion of the investigations, we will decide on the way forward'.

Cs Amina further said that the ministry will look into the security of schools to loop any possibilities of break-ins.

'This is a wake up all and the ministry is now looking into ways it can ensure security of students from outside dangers.' She said.
