Pastors behaving badly each and every week has become par for the course. The thing that astounds me is the shock that I get every time at how gullible some people can be!

But I digress. Which pastor is it now? One from South Africa. In photos seen by Radio Jambo that are going viral, Pastor Lesego Daniel of the Rassoni Centre ministries stuns his congregation after using his pet snake to heal people of their sins.

One bizzare method he used to achieve this was to offer the masses holy communion which had been ‘sanctified’ by the snake.

Even stranger, the pastor during his sermon had the snake wrapped around a cross and at one point, he had the reptile on the pulpit as he delivered his sermon.

One astonishing bit about the whole situation is the fact that the congregants do not seem disturbed by the happenings at all as they continue taking in the sermon.

Lesego’s stunt is not really the strangest thing to have graced an African church as religious leaders always seem to be in competition for who can garner the heaviest controversy.

A pastor allegedly commanded a snake to turn into chocolate and told his followers to feast on the reptile.

Pastor Penuel Mnguni was arrested for animal cruelty for the stunt - which he said showed his congregation's faith in God.

The 24-year-old self-styled prophet reportedly fed followers the slithery serpents while others looked on wincing.

Mnguni has been linked with controversial Lesego Daniel - who convinced his parish to eat grass and drink petrol last year.
