On Monday night, the much awaited match between the Kenyan Premier League All Stars and Hull City Select XI ended 2-1 in favor of the English Premier league side at the KCOM Stadium.

The struggling English Premier League side opened the scores in the 22nd minute through substitute Elliot Holmes’ before Harun Shakava’s own goal gifted the hosts the second in the 65th min.

Kenya’s Sportspesa All Stars who were outplayed for the better part of the game, scored their consolation goal in the second half through Humprey Mieno.

Ex- Harambee Stars manager, Ghost Mulee thinks the Kenyans did well believing that apart from Stanley Okumbi men's passing game which was the biggest let down, the all stars side did pretty well.

However, his colleague Joseph Ogidi thinks Kenyans tend to baby Harambee Stars a lot when it comes to their performances and the staunch Gor Mahia fan is a frustrated man who demands more from the national side if they are to qualify leave alone win any major tournament going forward.

"I was not impressed by head coach Stanley Okumbi." Said Gidi.

"Why would he bench 16-year-old Joshua Otieno while we were playing against his age mates? Then he went ahead to bring on the youngster in the dying seconds of the game, that was not right." He bemoaned.

The problem with Kenyans we don't like telling it as it is when it comes to Harambee Stars if they fail let us tell them they've failes. There's no way we can say they played well while we were outplayed by 16-year-olds!" He added.
