Harambee Stars striker Allan Wanga and his family are in mourning following the death of his mother on Sunday.
Noel Ayieta passed on at the Kenyatta National Hospital after a long battle with intestinal cancer.
Wanga, who signed for CECAFA Kagame Cup winners Azam in July, has been in Nairobi for the past one week to attend to his ailing mother and broke the sad news of his mother's passing via Facebook post on Sunday evening.
Also in mourning is the family of former Harambee Stars player Douglas Mutua who lost his mother to cancer on Friday. Family and friends of Mutua will be meeting at the Garden Square Restaurant along City Hall Way today at 1700h for burial and funeral arrangements.
