The High Court has suspended a cash bail of 500,000 issued to a secondary school teacher Hillary Okeyo, who was charged with rape of a 15 year old student.
Justice Ngenye Macharia cancelled the bail after the DPP made a successful application challenging a decision by the magistrate's court decision to release the teacher on a cash bail of Sh500,000.
Okeyo is accused of raping a form one student.
