Celebrated Kenyan boy band, Sauti Sol have assured their loyal fans that they are in for a bumper musical year.
This is after the ‘Sura Yako’ hit makers revealed that they have already recorded a total of 11 more songs, which will be released in the coming 11 months before the year comes to an end. That simply means that every month Kenyans will be served with a new Sauti Sol jam.
Speaking to Gidi and Ghost on Friday morning, the band which is fresh from releasing their latest song, ‘Girl Next Door’ featuring Tiwa Savage, revealed that they have managed to collaborate with top African acts in their upcoming LP titled ‘African Sauce.’
The award winning band have so far worked with a myriad of African acts with whom they have already enjoyed huge success. The artists include; Nigeria’s Patoranking and Yemi Alade and of course Tanzania’s Ali Kiba.
“Right now we are working on a project dubbed as African Sauce, so we are doing collaborations with African artists from across the continent, from Nigeria, Tanzania, South Africa and Uganda.” Said Savara before mentioning a number of artists they have already worked with.
We started out with C4 Pedro – Love Again and Bebe Cool – Mbozi Za Malwa. We have already finished working on the songs and for example in Tanzania we have worked with Vanessa Mdee and in Mozambique we have a song with Neyma.” He added.
