One thing that was made clear when Dagoretti South, MP, Dennis Waweru graced Radio Jambo studios this morning upon breakfast show presenters; Gidi and Ghost' invite is that he is no one's 'project' in the race for Nairobi's top political job, contrary to what a section of people claim.

Honorable Waweru is among a string of other popular candidates eying Nairobi's gubernatorial seat that include; the current Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero, Senator Mike Sonko, nominated member of parliament Johnson Sakaja and Bishop Margaret Wanjiru.

According to Mr. Waweru, who serves as the Marketing Director and Chief Dealer at Faida Investment Bank Limited, he is in the race to change the face of Nairobi, improving living standards as well as attract more investors, claiming he's best suited for the job thanks to his vast experience as well as his entrepreneurial background.

"I would first of all like to clarify that, just as president Kenyatta stated, no one will be favored come Jubilee nominations. He said there will be free and fair elections and it will be up to Nairobians to elect their preferred candidate." Said Waweru.

I am ready to fight with anyone on the ballot, I am not running because I am from a certain community I am visionary, I have the passion, energy and energy to work and represent the residents of Nairobi, I am not anyone's project and I'll never be anyone's project not unless Ghost Mulee's project." Added the Arsenal supporting, father of three.

Waweru further highlighted on his plans to reduce the ever ballooning rental fees in Nairobi as well as what he has in store for the women and youth in a bid to make Nairobi a great county both to work and live in.
