Kenya Police are seeking Interpol's assistance to probe reports that two Kenyan girls could have joined ISIS in Syria.

Police spokesperson Masoud Mwinyi says Interpol will assist in establishing an ISIS network in the country. Meanwhile, he is urging the girls' parents to share information with government agencies for easy investigation.

Several social media platforms used to lure youth to join Al shabaab and ISIS militant groups have already been shut down. The Cyber crime unit in collaboration with the national intelligence service say the online platforms are targeting young ladies to join terror groups as jihad brides.
