Back in 2013, nobody knew about Mohammed Abduba Dida, the man who ditched his teaching profession to vie for the presidency in a bid to succeed then President Mwai Kibaki.

Little known Dida shot to fame during the presidential debate where he stole the show with his hilarious answers and strategies on how he would help solve problems faced by ordinary Kenyans.

Fast forward to 2017, and Mr. Dida is back again on the political scene seeking a second stub at the Presidency this time under Tunza coalition. Tunza coalition is comprised, of Dida's Party for Real Change and Roots Party of Kenya RPK led by Prof George Wajackoyah.

Dida who actually claimed that he's President Kenyatta's main challenger in the August 8th 2017 election, was hosted by Radio Jambo breakfast presenter, Joseph Ogidi where he highlighted reasons as to why he thinks he is the right man to lead this great country.

But why is Dida vying for presidency?

"This life is for everyone and we are all striving to make today a better day than yesterday and as well as tomorrow a better day than today. " Said Dida who finished fifth in the 2013 general elections garnering 52,848 votes.

"We (country) are facing many problems. If buying goods today is better, compared to five years ago, if education levels are better off now, if the health sector is way better and if our economy has since improved compared to five years ago then, no one would be bothered and we would all just agree that everything is going on well. He added.

But everything goes from bad to worse from the security sector to the education sector where you cannot differentiate between a graduate and a drop out. Things are becoming worse." He said before adding that he would not want the next generation to be as frustrated as he is, adding that he has made it his responsibility to change all that.
