Joseph Kori's mistress pleads not guilty to murder of Mary Wambui

Joseph Kori's girlfriend, Judy Wangui and taxi driver Micheal Githae were arraigned in Kiambu high court where they pleaded not guilty on the murder of Kori's wife, Mary Wambui.

The two have been in custody for 30 days after they were arrested to allow the detectives to conclude their investigations.

They appeared before Judge Christine Meoli where they denied that on the night of January 26, at Fourways Junction estate along Kiambu Nairobi Road, jointly with others not before court they murdered Mary Wambui Kamangara.

Meoli set the bail terms hearing and the pre trial conference on March 8th.

Joseph Kori who was a main suspect to the murder of his wife, Wambui, was however released on February 21, from police custody after being with them for three weeks.

The police found that he was not involved in the murder of his wife.

Kori buried his wife in an emotional ceremony in Mweiga, Nyeri over the weekend.

Wambui's body was found floating in a dam in Juja, Kiambu county. It is reported that she had been hit on the head with a pressure cooker.
